TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT for New Mexico Jewish Journal in December!
In December the NM Local News Fund will triple all new subscriptions, contributions, and charitable donations made to the New Mexico Jewish Journal. Up to $500 from each individual contributor will become up to $1500, and they will match up to $3,750 with their $7,500. We just have to do it by December 31st.

Make a charitable donation directly thru our 501c3 fiscal sponsor, New Mexico Foundation at website: https://newmexicofoundation.givevirtuous.org/donate/new-mexico-jewish-journal or mail a check and write NM Jewish Journal on the memo line to: New Mexico Foundation, 8 Calle Medico, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
If about 35 of our members who currently are not yet subscribers choose a new subscription of $3 a month here in December, those subscriptions will be matched as worth $108, as annual subscriptions, and we will reach our goal. The math: $3 x 12 months=$36, then $36 x 3 =$108, and $108 x um, 34.72 of you gets $3750 matched 2x, $3750 + 7500 = $11,250, which will help keep us going for awhile.
We are off to a good start with $2,750.00 raised (12/3). We just have $1000 to go!

We had no idea that taking on the idea of publishing the NM Jewish Journal would unleash such enormous energy that in nine short months this baby has already published 80 articles, over 500 members have signed up, 37% are paying and an astonishing 78% are regularly opening and reading, 2.5k visitors have stopped by, and we have the surprising and unexpected acceptance by and support from the New Mexico Local News Fund/Press Forward campaign to rebuild local news.
Also in that short time we've gotten a fiscal sponsor New Mexico Foundation; a pro bono law firm Lawyers for Reporters; membership in the prestigious LION Publishing (Local Independent Online News), American Jewish Press Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and NM Press Women; and we've just been approved for media liability insurance coverage that will also insure our freelance writers.
